Caroline – Credit Controller
Part timer, when she’s here you’ll know it as she’ll be after your money. Caroline has worked here for 10 years helping us to pay the bills. Married with a teenage daughter, enjoys socialising with friends, afternoon teas, going to the theatre and as many holidays as (unfortunately) work and money will allow.
Wayne – Operations Manager
Wayne’s in charge of the Trade Counter and warehouse, if there’s a problem with your order speak to him he’ll get it sorted! Wayne runs a tight and orderly ship, you could eat your dinner off our warehouse floor. Started in the plastics industry when he was 16 and been here for 18 years. Married with 2 teenage daughters, loves family time and Spurs.
John – Trade Counter Assistant
John has worked in this industry since leaving school. With over 40 years of knowledge and experience in the plastics industry he’s always happy to offer good advice. He loves nothing more than spending time with family especially his grandchildren. Weekends you’ll find him in the garden warming his hands round the firepit with a pint of Real Ale. Loves cooking, quite the Nigella of Meridian. The founder member of Meridian’s Arsenal supporters club.
Paul – Trade Counter Assistant and Driver
Paul is our newest member of staff with experience in Trade and Retail construction products. He has spent the last 6 years in a customer facing retail environment. Engaged to his girlfriend Nicky his interests are in performance cars and F1. Dare we mention he’s an Arsenal fan. We used to all be blues!
Tony – Warehouseperson and Driver
Tony is another long-standing member of the team, he has been with us on and off for 14 years. Tony has worked in plastics and timber products since 1989 and has a wealth of experience. A loving granddad of 5 he’s always in demand. Tony is our go to man for anything mechanical, loves tinkering with cars and has a passion for fried Chicken.
Mick – Managing Director
Mick has been a salesman all his life and been involved in this industry over 45 years. Now retired but pops in to keep an eye on us all. He’s spent most of his life speeding up and down the M1 but now spends his time strolling the golf course and spending time in the 19th hole with a pint or two of Speckled Hen. Likes walking, cricket and football and happy to say he’s an avid Tottenham supporter.
Sharon – Finance Director
Sharon has been here 20 years and runs the business, she looks after our money, advertising and marketing. Married with 1 grown up son, 2 stepdaughters and 1 skateboarding mad grandson. Loves all motorsport especially Moto GP, F1 & Rally Cross. When not watching you’ll find her covered in mud going sideways on the Autograss track. Bit of a speed freak and has spent many a time buried in the Armco. She’s on the blue team, come on you Spurs.
Poly – Company Mascot
Poly has been with the company for over 5 years helping us promote our products and services. Unfortunately her position with our company is under review as she doesn’t meet the ASA dress code. We have asked her to cover up but she has told us she has every right to wear what she wants.
