When installing a Polycarbonate conservatory or lean-to roof are you considering the U-Value? U-Values measure the transfer of heat through a structure. The higher a products thermal resistance value the better the insulative performance and the lower the U-Value. There are many brands of Multiwall Polycarbonate in the market, but what one gives you the best protection?  Check out the U-Value of your Polycarbonate before purchasing inferior quality sheeting. The thicker the sheet the lower the u-value and better thermal resistance. A lean-to roof should ideally be a minimum of 25mm thick.
