Meridian Building Plastics have been around for twelve years and during that time, we have seen many changes in the surrounding areas. Being on the border between Enfield and Chingford, we have some great loyal small business customers; We look forward to meeting new local customers.
As a family-friendly company, we are all too aware of the importance of community. Every year we support a local community project and this year our hard- working staff chose two worthy causes.
Our first charity – The Godwin Lawson Foundation will be our charity of the year for 2016. The Charity was set up by Yvonne Lawson, in memory of her son Godwin Lawson, who was sadly killed in a knife attack in 2010. As you can imagine we are delighted that the charity recently won funding from The people’s project.
Our second charity – Waverly School is a special school in Enfield for students with severe and profound learning difficulties.
We have decided to hold a series of events to raise money for charity and of course bring the community together. Some of the many events planned will include a summer pool night, a giant Jenga, and a calendar. We will, of course, keep you posted on the events and dates.
We have already started our fundraising on Facebook by donating 25p for every ‘like’ that we receive for The Godwin Lawson Foundation posts. So get clicking!
